| Training Vet Nurse Placement - Wigan |
| Category: Job Wanted |
| Submitted: 03 February 2012 |
| My name is Jenna Whittle and I am 21 years old. In September I am hoping to start a veterinary nursing course at Myerscough College. It has been my dream since I can remember to work with animals and I just need to be given the opportunity to be able to do the career I have always wanted. In order to do this course I have to be in full-time (35 hours a week) salaried employment in a Veterinary Practice that is an RCVS Approved Training Practice prior to starting the course. This salaried employment is also very important as this is how I will fund my course. I would be very grateful if I could be given this opportunity and be given a placement in a practice. I am very hard working and willing and I cannot exaggerate enough how much I would love to do this course and become a veterinary nurse and just hope you will grant me this experience that is very important to my course.
This is my second year running of applying for a veterinary training position in a surgery as I was unable to find a placement last year hence having to try again a year later. I hope you will see this as the determination I have to do this course and consider me to train in your practice. |

| Vet Nurse - Small Animal & Equine, Devon |
| Category: Job Vacancy |
| Submitted: 31 January 2012 |
| Super little opportunity for the right candidate to join my clients friendly 4 vet mixed practice in Devon. This independent practice is well equipped and benefits from a beautiful rural location yet close enough to one of Devon''s cities with main transport links to other areas. You get the best of both worlds - shopping and nightlife or peace and quiet in the countryside!
My client is looking for an experienced nurse and although RVN status is advantageous it is not essential. The ability to work as part of a team and good communication skills are more important for this varied role. The successful candidate will have experience of both small animal & equine work and my client will support your pursuit of EVN status if you so desire it.
On offer is a full time permanent position with a quiet 1:4 weekends on call, CPD allowance, salary and holiday entitlement.
